my cruise control all of a sudden stop working for no reason.. i have already switched the old fuse for a new one in the interior fuse box.. and nothing has happened.. no cruise control.. i really need for the long drives i take to communte..

please help me out..!

 

If its a 2001 and the mileage is reasonable it should be under warranty.

When you switch the CC on, do any lights come one?

When you hit the "set" button what happens?

Fuses, CC unit, vacuums and throttle cables would be the first things I would check.

 

unfortantely.. car does not have warranty anymore.. the cruise control button light turns on.. but when i got to set the speed nothing happens..

what can i do to try to find out what is the problem

 

Check to make sure your brake lights are working properly. If the brake light switch is bad or misadjusted, the CC won't work.
