Dodge Neon SRT-4
hey i was just wondering if any of you guys have ever come accross a srt-4 or if you have any vids of them racing
ive seen the one with the talon and the wrx but whatwould they do to an R

plus, i think you'd also need to have an R with a well-tuned turbo to make it fair, otherwise your comparo makes no sense, to me atleast.

That being said, our lovely R's are still Integras. But don't get me wrong - I love the Type-R!

I raced one a while back in my Civic (around 340whp at the time). Did him pretty ugly. Couldn't really tell if he was racing. They're pretty slow unless you add nitrous or switch out the turbo.
I ran an SRT-4 along time ago when they first came out. We were on the turnpike with nobody in site and we got on it from about 60 to 110. He put a car on me. I had a OEM JDM header, cat and ATS 4.9 FD.
Raced one with Mopar Stage 1 and some other stuff the very first day my car was boosted, he hung until my turbo spooled up
My friend has a 92 GSR-T and ran across one with Stage 1, lots of bolt ons and a 150 shot and got outran by a couple cars. Teg was on 8 lbs, Revhard kit stock everything else with a passenger and 160K on the odometer.

wats so bs about wat i said. i really did beat a srt4. this was a stock srt4 and the mods i have are i/h/e.. they do 13.9 to a 14.5 on the quarter mile stock. type r's do 14.4 to 14.8 stock. wats so bs about it. i did a 14.2...

ex-mag 2.5inch exhaust(straight back piping)

Here is my SRT4 with 3 mods ONLY 3 MODS AEM intake, Mopar Exhaust and Mopar stage 1 ECU, Maybe 4 if you count drag radials.

BS if you think your ITR with bolt-ons can hang with a SRT4 with bolts-ons.
I own both and the SRT4 pulls much harder up top. (Unless the driver sucked)
The fasted my ITR went with a stock block, cams, pistons.....only bolt ons was 13.5s
I like both cars for different reasons....... its too bad people have to criticize other cars when they are jealous of the performance of another ...... the Type R is still only a modified Integra which is still only a modified 92-95 Civic Chassis and the Integra is a chicks car in Japan

and you still drive a freaking CIVIC.....yes integra is based on civic platform....not the otherway around.....civic was first....integra came next!!! think about it....
and to the dude who says he pulls on the srt4's in his itr.....BS.....i have 190 to the wheels in a 2350lb hatch and i pull 2-3 cars on a freeway pull....

Honestly is there a point in comparing a turbo-charged car and an N/A car like this? Lets slap a turbo on the R then compare, or take the turbo off the SRT-4. I hate seeing comparison threads, I'm in high school and I swear it brings out the 15 year old in everybody, trust me, I see them every day...
ITR's with I/H/E. and vafc will have hardtime keepin up with SRT-4. the neon.
it's ot but i raced stock G35. did 40 - 4th gear redline on highway.
i had him 2nd 3rd and 4th . when he hits his 4th gear redline. he walked away from me smoothly.
and what i'm saying is.. srt4 is faster than G35's..
so u wont beat SRT 4's

SRT4's are what every new kid who wants to be fast is getting where I live, so my goal in life is to stomp on them but that wont happen for a while. hopefully my full SMSP setup will help when it arrives, but i'm sure even that wont be good enough
