Default Sony XPlod receiver question about warning beep

the sony xplod receiver i have installed in the car i just bought has a warning beep when you turn off the ignition to remind you to take the faceplate off. i suppose anyone know a way to turn this function off?

i used to have an xplod reciever but i forget the menu you go into to change things

check your owners manual, it should be in there for sure

actually, the none of the options in the menu seemed to change the warning beep. anyone else know how to disable it?

oh, i never even thought of changing the sound,

its very annoying. I have the manuals, but have to find it.

man it has to be easy to find

i remember on my old sony it even had an option to turn off the beep noise for when you pressed buttons

dont have the model number with me. but its not new. its before they went to 52x4, its just 50Wx4 cd deck.
