My power antenna stopped working, this is its second one. I was wondering if anyone knows why they go out and if there are any ways to fix them. Sucks cause my radio stations dont come in clearly. Thanks in advance.

 

Your motor died or your mast teeth broke. Buy a new one. I have one from my 2000 GS w/38k miles on it for sale. Perfect cond. replaced it with the S2000 antenna for looks. 50+shipping from New Orleans. PM me for more info.

 

I need more specific info on your problem. Is it that your mast will not go up or down? Or is it the motor itself?

 

I'm not sure if this helps but check to make sure the power antenna to the radio is connected. Cause when I put in my aftermarket stereo in I cut off the power antenna wire. I think it looks better without it up but then again there goes the stations.

 

Very easy fix. Get satalite radio like XM, or Sirius. You will never use your radio again. Then you can shave your antenna.

 

I too also want to know how to fix the problem.

I bought a new mast and motor, but cannot seem to get to the broken one.

I searched but cant find specific instructions.

If you need instructions on how to remove the old assm. its very easy. Take out your rear seats and rear panel. Then unscrew and take out your drivers side panel. You must unscrew the silver bevel on the outside of your cars antenna and then only one screw holds it onto the subframe on the inside. Team Integra has a guide.

 

the antenna sucks. I would suggest s2k or something better than the motor. It seems to go out on everybody

check your grounds i had mine stop working on my accord and my integra first time it was a fuse then it was a loose ground

 

there is a post i made on team integra on why our antennas suck and why so many of them fail. such under my name for posts and you'll find it.

 

Common problem. IMO Integra antennas suck. I switched to S2000 (the full assembly though, not those cheap $20 "kits")

Yes I have been a member for a couple years and my cousin is twice a member. He fixed his gs-r then it broke again lol
