I replaced the alternator on my civic yesterday and now the replacement is making noise. Has this happened to anyone else? If you over tension the belt, can this happen? I dont think I over tension-ed the belts. I might have just gotten a cheap alternator. Any suggestions?


By the way, the replacement was a bitch. I dont want to have to do it again.

 

well I got it figured out. It was just a bad alternator.

 

that'll do it
