OK, my dad just bought a truck and it came with a 6CD Changer. The truck was used with an aftermarked CD Changer, but he is not going to use it, it will just set in the truck. So I am going to take it and try to put it in my 2001 2Dr EX Civic.
Is there anyway to make this changer work with the factory CD player? I have noticed the Disc change buttons (#5 and #6 on the radio station memory buttons). how would I go about hooking this thing up? and would I be able to use the 6 CDs in the trunk and be able to change out the 1 cd in the dash? and is there a guide to how to wire these up?

Well what name brand is the CD changer?

If it is an Alpine and depending on the model number, the cd changer should work on your factory cd player.

 

Is it an Alpine changer? if so not to hard. also Soundgate makes handshake adpts. so you can run sony,pioneer, kenwood and a few more multidisk changers off your Honda HU.
