1991 DX sunvisor question

1991 DX sunvisor question
Is it all one piece or does the plastic mounting piece slide out of the visor when it is removed from the ceiling? The sunvisor was facing the side window. My wife forgot it was there, opened the door, and the seatbelt took the visor down with the bracket still in the ceiling. So can I just buy new hardware or does the entire sunvisor need replacement? The whole thing is like 40 bucks at the dealer.
