Default Squeeky clutch pedal (tried wd-40)

Well my pedal makes a small squeek every time i press it to the floor! Ive tried wd-40 multipul times now and have soaked everything down there... Any advice would be helpful. Is there anything under the hood i can soak with some oil or is it for sure by the pedal, which is where it seems to come from?

Just did this on my car. Pulled the cable from the transmission and assembly and pulled as much of the cable out as I could, and then greased the **** out of it. Fixed it right up

WD40 actually dries out the cable.
