'98 hatchback Rear Tower Strut bar installation = HOW?
Just landed myself a nice '98 CX hatchback. Between work and studying, not enough time to surf the endless internet. Anyone have detailed links on how to install a rear tower strut bar on my hatchback? The front is straight foward, and from what I have seen so far it looks like I will have to do some cutting of the interior plastic to get to the tower, but need some experienced instruction and pics.
Thanks.
Thanks.
good question.. yes i need help with this one too. The interior panels on the ek hatches are all one piece, from the door to the back of the car. Any suggestions? when i did my coilover install i had to remove my rear speakers and get a long extension to get the bolts at the bottom. Any other ways to get the rear strut bar installed without cutting holes in the interior?

This is the only way. While you can access the struts from the speaker hole, you cannot put a bar connecting the two sides without doing some cutting, or completely removing the rear plastic panels.
Remember to cut carefully.
