well I picked b18c... not really the c but go ls vtec... thats what iam doing... just dont go to the shop I went to ... (Check my post)... my friend had a full blown b20 in his ek coupe... but he couldnt turn for ****... we took an S curve... turn fine on the first turn... and just drifted towards the curve on the next... front gets too heavy and momentum takes over. so w/ crx being lighter... i went ls vtec... actually... go b17... dont know much about it... but I heard it is easier... lol... I wanted that first...
b16 bolts in...
b17 ???? stronger than b16 ... lighter than b18 (so I guess)
b20 heavy
h22 woah momma... best only for drag!
k23 ????
thats my oppinion

why does everyone assume that the H22 in a CRX doesn't turn well????
if you were to search on the H22 in a CRX it isn't bad at all

I can't vote but I would ssay the b16a, if it will be a daily driver. Firstly easier to swap, secondly handling. But if only for the strip go bigger.

any B-series is just as easy to swap into a CRX as any other B-series. The only difference with a B18 or B20 would be the wiring, and thats only if you choose to go obd1. Other than that, a B16 is just as easy/hard to do.

You're telling me a B20 is too much weight in the front for an EK coupe? Sounds like your friend has some major problems with his suspension or something.

Unless you have a CRX from Japan or any country that got the CRX with the b16, you still need a mount kit for any B-series.
btw, I'd like to know what car the k23 came from...

i dont know how many posts their have been. just dont forget that theirs thousands of people in honda-tech some people dont log in all the time. Some people only log in honda-tech when their car is acting funny...
whats that have to do with making the same post a million times...if you did a search you will see this is already covered and there are many factors to determine which engine is the best for YOU...

i gots a 90 crx si i am building a b16a thats the way im goin cuz in my opinion b16 is best bang for the buck. go that way if u want or go ls its cheap but not alot of go. but still has some.

Best bang for the buck. Dollar for dollar, it's probably the most economical and best all around swap you can do.</TD></TR></TABLE>
see and thats where i differ and its all about opinion, for the price to install a b16a you might as well rebuild/build up a d16a6 or mini-me for that price and it will be new and have a better range of power than some old, high miled b16a...
