Suspension/Brakes for beginners. Reading request.
im just trying to gather information on suspension and brakes, in regards for track setup.
i am reading through the FAQ and i see alot of good material, but i do not feel like i have a firm grasp on it all,
so basically im asking for any links, whether it be bookmarks, other web page links or anything, with full detail of things that will help me further understand not only proper setup or suspension and brakes.. but the meaning and reasoning behind these set-ups..
for example. heres some reading i came across earlier.
". Because most of us with these chassis' run the similar bars, and because the rear spring motion ratio is better than the front, a given spring rate on the rear produces a higher wheel rate than it does on the front. We can therefore continue for the purpose of discussion to refer to the NA setup as high rear bias and the JDM as high front bias."
i have a basic grasp on spring rates.. and very basic suspension and braking, but i bet people in here have some good reading! and i think it would be good for others besides me to have a lot of good collected reading in one thread.. besides the faq that is.

a good, basic book i can recommend is "High-Performance Handling Handbook".
It doesn't go into huge detail, but it's a good summary of everything handling related.
