Default Ipod install in my '94 Accord

Well I finally got around to it after 1 long day at it - it is done. How I did it was use the following pieces:

1 - Alpine's KCA-801B (aux input adapter)
2 - Monster Cable's iCarcharger
3 - Monster Cable's RCA to mini jack cable
4 - Radio Shack's toggle switch
5 - Radio Shack's cigarette lighter (new unit so that I didn't have to cut and splice the Monster Cable unit
6 - Apple Ipod Dock (needed another one)
7 - My precious time

Here are the pics:

Let me know what you think

Seems like a clean install
Does it sound as good as it looks?
How about static noise?

It sounds GREAT - there is no static noise or hum. Nothing like have 5000 songs at your fingertips!

if you like the alpine decks, you should be interested in the new ones because alpine will have a new adapter coming out by the end of this year. with this addapter cord, you will be able to control, charge, and run the ipod through the deck. you will have full control on the radio face. you will never have to touch you ipod again unless your going to load more music on it. have fun

awesome install, but it would look so much better if the ipod was black

although i just used rca to 1/8th jack and ran it to my amp since all my speakers/subs are powered from them.
