I'm buying a 93 Civic Dx coupe from a friend for $200, but it's got a blown motor and a cracked radiator. I need to know what the easiest swap in terms of price and man-hours I can do to get this car back on the road.

 

If you live in cali, anything USDM: d15b, d16y, d16z6. Those are just a few.

 

ill give you 400 for it and come pick it up. the easiest swap would just be the stock sohc.

 

agreed.. those dx motors are a dime a dozen and as long as it's a similar year or greater, you'll have no problem making it street/smog legal.
