11.5:1 compression am i able to boost?

Default 11.5:1 compression am i able to boost?

i'm interested in getting turbo but i'm not sure how high is to high for compression. i have ls vtec with 11.5:1 srp pistons and eagle rods , type r oil and water pump. am i able to boost if so how much?

no... w/ forged internals you can boost the hell out of it. just tune it.

now i'll get back to my thread, which was created 1 minute earlier than yours.

i would go over 6-7 psi

Detonation will be a problem on that high of compression.

cometic turbo head gasket (should lower your compression to about 10.9:1)

Are you trying to run on pump gas? If not just get some ERC and you should be good up to one bar.

get a inline pro headgasket and it will drop it to 10.5:1 much safer on pump gas and still make good power

yes i will be using pump gas. just not sure what size turbo i should get. this is going to be my first turbo project. so..
