nope. EF8 is CRX front and the EF9 is a HB. HB has a filler piece that changes everything. the EF8 bumper has cutouts to accomodate the headlights, while the EF9 bumper does not.

They only things interchangeable between the 2 are headlights and hood. thats it. Corner lights are different which in turn means the fenders are different. Also the HB fenders flare out more than CRX fenders.

Which car do you have (HB or CRX) and what were your ideas??

I have a 90 HB but i have a chance to get a CRX front end & since my front end on my HB is crashed, I figured that i could pick it up & have the body shop put it all on: bumper, hood, lights, corners, fenders
