Fuel Pump?
92 accord Was running last night
this morning it wouldnt crank. turns over but wont start.
have spark.
noticed that the fuel pump doesnt prime/buzz when key is turned on.
and there is no fuel to Fuel rail.
Voltage meter read 3 volts at wires going into fuel pump
is the fuel pump bad? how to test?
any help greatly appreciated.
More than likely it is a faulty main relay.
In that generation Accord, and also the 4th generation Preludes, the main relay would begin to malfunction after a few years. This due to the components inside expanding and contracting with temperature changes. It will eventually break the contacts inside the relay, and will intermittently cause it to act quirky.
A new relay is about $60 from Honda.
