Default Y1-transmissions

Does anyone know what a Y1 transmission is? Which cars and motors are they compatible with and are there any advantages or disadvantages to using them? ?

http://www.bseries.net/html/specs/btrannyspecs.php

Based on that, it's a JDM transmission with an optional LSD from a B16A1. Gear ratios are a bit different than most "regular" trannies. Check it out from the specs.

i have a y1 transmission
its a b16 first gen jdm cable transmisssion
but the gearing is not that small. the gearing is bigger and longer than the normal usdm b16 transmissions.
this transmission does not have the 4.40 final drive.
the s1 and j1 transmission are the cable transmissions that have the same gearing and a itr and usdm b16's
