Type R chassis vs. Regular Integra/Civic chassis
Hello,
I want to know the exact difference between a type-r chassis and a regular dc2 integra or civic chassis... besides the sway bars and tie bars, and the bar in the trunk etc... what other structural reinforcements is there to the type-r?
thanks!!

Also, judging by the wording in your post and the thread title, I should probably mention that no Civic uses the DC2 chassis. The DC2 code applies strictly to 3rd gen. VTEC-powered Integra coupes.
according to the haynes manual:
DB7=4 door/b18b1
DB8=4 door/b18c1
DC2=3 door/b18c1/c5
DC4=3 door/b18b1
..just had to get that on there. i always got the chassis confused
