Well..my friend had a little uh....mishap?...with his old HKS Hiper...



so he went over to Eastside Muffler (local shop) and had this one made for free...what do you guys think? Thing sounds crazy as hell

When you say "sounds crazy as hell" do you mean it sounds like crap? Becuase I havent heard one that doesn't yet.

 

its really loud without a resonator...otherwise it doesnt sound that bad at all

You should have just had a straight pipe coming out the back with no tips.. no nothing. That's what the a lot of ppl do over here Sounds amazing with turbocharged cars.. especially the ones with big turbos..

 

WTH happened with the old exhaust?

Not feeling the new set-up. Looks like the same setup some kid has on a Cutlass Calais around town.

Why is it on backwards...I thought it angled to the outside to the closest fender not inside to the middle :shrugs:

i love how guys love loud sounding cars...

to me it sounds like the car's struggling to go 10mph. heheh

 

i had to run open header once, had a stock b pipe with a high comp d series with 4-2-1.. b pipe feel off going to the bank at noon... it was godly insane trying to get home and not get arrested. I was making childen cry, people yelling at me.. it was great.

btw.. that first exhaust looks like crap, and the second one looks worse.

and youre an idiot if you think that in the first picture, the muffler is actually set up to look like that.

and a high comp d series still wouldnt be that loud unless you had it floored trying to hit your Vtec-E off the B pipe. Friends B16 CRX ran off a B Pipe and it wasnt that loud....till he got on it

 

Damn I hate the sound of a resonatorless exhaust, I had one on my car when my exhaust broke by the b-pipe thus eliminating the resonator and cat and damnnnn that shiet was farting, sounded like a cofee can.

i dont really like the new one...couldnt he have jsut straightened the piping on the hks or something?...but if he likes it then thats all that matters

 

nah the HKS was dead..we took it off and checked it over..it was no more

well, just look at the road in front of the cars, look at the cars, and think about it....thats what happened

the new set up looks pimp! most HTer's won't like it though because it doesn't look like a Apexi Dunk or some stupid ****...

I haven't seen a shitty exhaust job from Eastside Mufflers ever.
