Brake pedal mushy after rotor/pad install and bleed
Brake pedal felt firm, was good before I changed out the rotors/pads/flushed the fluid. Afterwards, (noticed next day) pedal pressure was much softer, and at idle, pedal can be pushed all the way to the floor pretty easily. Bled fluid again, and then flushed fluid again...problem is still there. I thought it might be the master cylinder, but was wondering why the master cylinder would go bad all of a sudden right after the change? Please help...I cannot enjoy my oem brembo/axxis ultimate combo until this is solved.
To be honest, you probably just didn't get all the air out of the lines. I wouldn't think a brake master cylinder would go out coincidentally, but $hit happens. Just make sure you keep the reservoir topped off when bleeding b/c if you don't, you'll have to bleed it again.
how did you flush it? You might want to try to bleed them farther up thr line if you can, to get trapped air out.(Air goes up and it is hard to make it go down.)
When i change my pads i never loosen no lines i just loosen the resivior cap and thats it. I've never had no break problems
Goodluck
