Default my NEW crx ....LOOK!

Well I have a blue 88 hf I used to drive and I have a 90 4 door teg. Been driving it for a while nowand I did quite a bit to it but I came across a really good deal on a clean 90 crx si (I did a ls swap for him in his new car) so I swapped inthe teg setup into the crx. I have not had a crx to drive for a few really long years. Sorry for the crappy outside of the car picts but it was dark down at the shop. Ill take a few more tomorrow to post up.

It is a b16a turbo. for the moment it is riding on some 17 tenzo shu-4 cause they the only wheels I have with any tread left. I got some nice looking 16's with it I think will look good plus I don't like anything bigger than 16's on a crx.
Mods list as follows.
b16a cable swap with ys1 tranny
assco alum fly
action 1 md clutch
msd BTM (still have to run the dial to the dash :x )
msd 6al w blaster coil, msd cap and wires
ss auto mani
t3/t4 turbo 50 trim
35mm wastegate
dsm side mount
custom 2 inch mandrell charge pipe to ic
aem intake/charge piping to tb
bosch 2nd gen BOV
fields hyper-r fuel controller
walbro 255 hp intake pump
vortech 12:1 fmu
koni blue shocks and whatever springs come with that combo :?
2.5 custom dp and exhaust
ctr oem crank pulley and str alt pulley

That is really all I can think of for now. I got rid of the blue headlights and went back to oem. I am looking for the oem turn lights (not fond of clear corners) and I need a couple of small interior parts. I wanted the turbo install as stealth as possible on the teg but now eveyone knows I am turbo I am gonna go with a fmic and good BOV asap. After those 2 upgrades, a full race traction bar and some tires for the 16's it will be time to build the 2.0 GE block I have had sitting here for about a year now.
In the teg I was running consitant 13.5 at 5000+ feet w 7 psi on 20' MT slicks so I am hoping for the same or a bit better in the crx. I have a small boost leak right now I am trying to find so I'm sitting at 5 psi for the moment.

Let me know what u guys think.

I know there are a million threads about this, but how long have you used that mani? Is it still working out OK for you?

Used it for about 3.5 or 4 months. NO issues so far but I own a welder so im not too worried about it. The newer ones have 3 braceson them and it has held so far.

It drives pretty good. Not quite as fast as it was in the teg yet and I need to get a ES bushing kit to stiffen some of the suspension up but it's nice. The moon roof is the #1 part of having it. Never had one before!!!

Are you just plumbing the pipe right between the suspension (down the middle) or are you using some type of clearance pipe? Dr. Gas sells some flattened pipe that I'm thinking about using it for the same thing (up the middle...) You running into any issues with ground clearance?

yes it goes right down the middle of the car. With the crx I have 0 scrapes, but as you can see (well sorta) it not very low. I had H & R race on the teg and yeah I scraped it alot but the crx is a little high still.

The ic is tucked away inside the pass side wheel well, you can kinda see it from the front shot on the pas side vent.

Nice ride!

I think a 3" Thermal would look and work nicely on that setup.

Also is that the msd boost retard **** in the engine bay? wasen't it made so it could be controlled from the cabin of the car? lol.

A 3 inch thermal would be awesome...sometime down the road i'd like that w a 3 inch DP.
Yeah the control **** goes in the cabin just have not had time to run it through and mount it yet. I still have to do that and wire in my greddy TT and vacuum the damn thing...LOL
What front x-member do you have on your car?

to be honest......I dont know. It looks really old, looks like a weld together kit or it was custom. It does it's job. Had to put all new weld's on it because one on the radius arm broke and I just didn't trust the old weld's.

But it gives me alot more room than stock ones and it help's out at the track.
