2000 si cd player and a 99 cd player...

is there a difference between the two?
the 2000 and the 1999 si cd players? just wonderin, cause im getin one for my hatch...

or is there a way to tell that its a si cd player
when its not installed in a car? since they all seem identical, how would i kno it lites up amber?
