okay like 6 mouths back a friend of mine fliped his 90 si crx it is just chill out in his yard i am sure he still has it even tho i havent talk to him lately.............any ways
i am thinking aboult buying it

i have a 91 hf crx and have blue inter. i want the black inter. but dont know how good his is now cuz i am sure rain is getting to it

this is what i want out of it:
the si tranny for my dohc zc
the inside
the 4 wheel disc brakes
brack booster
heater and blower
basicly all the profromance stuff that the lil old hf dose not have

( and what all profromance stuff do they have?)


So should i get it or say f it?

by all means get it...if it is worth $300 to you then jump on it.

 

I would get it, you have the Si seats and complete interior you could use if its not that damaged by rain like you stated. The disc brake conversion, alloy wheels, tranny or a plus. Also you could get the entire MPFI conversion and misc. things you could get from the car.

the crx hf is stock mpfi
so thats only good for ebay

 

jump on that crx for 300 its a good deal if most of the parts are there.
even if most are missin its nice. the only really damaged area was the body right? how many times did he flip it?

and 90-91 are 4 right?

 

as far as i know all the stock si pats are on the the olly part that was removed was the tranny front mount and i took that off

it was fliped one time

so it broke the pass miror
fenders are fucked
hood is smashed
well of course the roof it messed up
the back hacth is broke

yeah the out side is gone basicly
but mine is it great shape so i dont need any of that

and i guess i could sell all of my old hf part and what i dont use from the si for chep think i could get any thing?
think i could sell the shell?

I have a 90 Si... it has 4 wheel discs, it had one owner and she didn't mod it, so yes, 90-91 Si does have 4 wheel disc

ya, all 90-91 CRX Si's had 4 wheel disk brakes....I think they are more for looks than practicality....

In that case you better get your brakes looked at
Nothing better than 4 wheel disc brakes

 

90-91 rerxs had 4 wheel disc brakes. but like somebodt posted it must have been for looks because the front brakes do 80% of your stopping. and weigh more than drums,thats why i havnt put discs on my 89 si- rather spend the money on something like an im ,,,etc....

Yup, drums weigh less but I would rather see/service 4 discs than discs and drums.

 

Okay i just got off the phone with the guy selling the crx
and he wants 400 for it seem a lil high for a parts car
but here is a list of things i want out of it
si seats
si tranny
si gauge culster
4 wheel disc brakes
the full si inter.
the passanger side head light harness
si axles
si hubs assb.
the heater and blower

and thats all i can think of now but i am gonna go look at it sunday see if i still want it ill post some pic

maybe we can meet in the middle for 350 but he semms stuck on 400 and he did want 500

 

go with 300 cash and if he says know then walk away. You'll find more deals in the future.

Actually only the 91 SI came w/ disc brakes. The rest had drum.

I would hop on that deal. $300 is way cheap for an almost complete parts car, that was running when parked.

It's not really necessary. I'm going to put NSX dual-pistons up front on 11" 'lude rotors(machined to fit) on DA knuckles. Just machine the caliper side of the mount 5mm to get them on. With the rear-disc and that set-up up front, You'll stop and only spend about $400. Plus it's all stock Honda parts. Hoooray Nissin.
