Fast or Slow??
I have a JDM EF9 running B16A1 done 120,000 miles, has Int R cams, Spoon clutch, light flywheel, Toda valve springs, titanium spring retainers, computer, intake, de-cat, Tanabe group N, 16" wheels.

Stock EF9 would be low 7s. They're not light. You have to figure that it's a bit faster than a Civic Si, which most magazines put in the mid 7s, some high 7s and one 7.3 (C&D).
Wow, that is pretty slow for all those mods. My Si 90 hatch when I had the B16, DC header, homemade intake, and home made exhaust...with bald street tires ran consistant 14.5's with a best of 14.48. What is your 60' time? Mine was around 1.97...good driving, but still an average driver should be around 2.1 or so. BTW, my car wieghed 2350 at the time with no driver. Your car should be around 14.2 or so with all that stuff.

It must be sth wrong with my car! BTW I in UK the car is Europe apec, running 4.2 Final gear rather than JDM 4.4, the car has been dyno few times, engine output 178 BHP. what was ur Si engine output?
when I had the B16 in there....it put out around 148 whp. I had a Y1 cable tranny with my B16a setup. What was your 60 ft time? Have you done a compression check? 178 whp sounds about right. you should be running around 14.-14.2 with that power. What does your car weigh?

Those times seem low. Even with 150 somethin at the wheels you should still be turning high to mid 6's in your civic for 0-60. In my CRX i turn mid to high 7's in the 0-60 and that was just with a home made intake and nothing else. and i still have in my D16.
(but what about the elevation? )
Yes, that's critical we are running at different weather, temperature air pressure, places......etc..
Has anyone try fuel pressure regulator, any help on 1/4 miles?

well sorry to say man... if that is with g-tech and i wouldnt know what else you would time 0-60 with unless you have money... but that time seems slow for what you have.... when i first got g-tech i timed my 89 taurus SHO and it did 6.5 then another run i did a 6.35
a b16 with those mods in an EF9 should be alot quicker then my taurus

It time by Apexi RSM with G-sensor. But in UK I saw many VTI or SIR running 15-16 at 1/4, as u guys have mentioned 14's is hard to believe!
May be u know how to tune VTEC.

I have done about 15 first gen B16's into EF's. Not one of them have run less than high 14's. Elevation does matter. So does weather, and such. I was around sea-level, in 85-95 degree FL weather. At higher elevations, you should run at the most around 15.1. You need to practice your launches, and you should be able to get your 60' times down to around 2.0-2.1. There really isnt any tuning in vtec. You really arent going to make any power with an ADj regulator, unless you need the extra fuel. Gtec....poop. Go to the track and see what it will run.
