Default wheels for cd5 accord

CAR:

keep in mind i will be raising the car. i need something more driveable.
i am looking at either buying taller tires for the rota wheels or getting larger rims.
i also want something that will ride smoother. the 24 pt adj. shocks i have are kind of stiff and i dont feel like buying new ones so the tires will help make the difference. the taller tires on the rotas will help be smoother but im not sure they will look good, so i am thinking of new rims, help me please.

the rims are either Nakayama Modernspeed or Tenzo R Formula-10 (in graphite or bronze)
here are the rotas i have now, keep in mind the tires on them now are too small by factory standards

well if you want a smoother ride dont get larger wheels. the larger the wheel the harsher the ride.

raising it from there? My accord is way lower then that and it NEVER scrapes and I live near Seattle, some of the worst roads next to New York.

17" nakayama's would look hot!!! just get 215/45r17 tires.. thats the stock diameter.. and it looks way better and will ride better.. although.. to give a VERY smooth ride.. the rota's with taller tires would be best for that

OT but your car looks nice.

Bigger tires will look better and ride better. Accords have a mighty fender to fill in.

thanks guys, i think i will go with the taller tire, right now i am running a 205/40/16, i got them so i could slam my car, i was not thinking for the far future

here in macon i am going to have to start dealin with down town and the roads suck, its mainly when u pull into a parking lot off the road b/c there is a big change in height. my car doesnt look that low in that pic but it is, there is like 2.5 inches clearance under the exhaust, the middle of the car is the low part.
