Default Help, knoi yellows brake line bracket woes..

91 CRX HF. Just got koni yellwws and ground controls and the ground control top shock mountings. Followed the koni directions. Got one of the brake brackets off easily from the old OEM shock. When to place it on the new koni with the little pointer right across the pinch bolt indentation on the koni shock and I cant get it the last 1/4 to 1/2 inch up the shock.

SHEESE! I'm afraid of damaging the shock. How in the heck do you get these things up to the correct place.

BTW.. did a search. No info about this problem. I've read the directions, the bracket is allgined correctly, its not on upside down. It just doesnt want to go the last 1/2 inch or so. Is there some secret here?

Thanks for help.

Get some lub and start spraying down along the shock where the brake bracket would go. You can get the brake bracket with a hammer just be careful.
