Default old school 87 civic with new school V-tec flavor

Ok, here is what I am in the process of building. I have a 1987 honda Civic sedan 5 speed, I bought a CRX HF engine, tranny, and ecu. I am going to build some serious SOHC power, so I tore the D15b7 apart, I bought a D16z6 crank, and I am looking for a Vtec head to match. I am looking for a Z6 head. A few things I have not decided yet would be a piston and rod combo, if I should bore it out, and what kind of cam and valvetrain I should build. I am building it naturally aspirated.

I think the larger question is, how will you mount a D15B7 drivetrain in an 87 Civic? The D15B7 engine and tranny have completely different mounts and no one makes a 4g ==> 3g mount swap kit, so it's all gotta be custom fabbed.

D-series blocks are and have been the same for years, and the only difference in the mounts from my car to the CRX the new engine came out if is one of the tranny supports. On my car, it attaches to the fenderwell, on the 88-91's it attaches to the radiator support. I still have the donor car, and the rear end is more or less gone, so im putting the motor in my other car. A little wire feed welder is a nice thing to have!

I have a P28 ECU and a 95 civic wire harness that I bought off e-bay. Not very cheap items, with the head and intake off the 95, it should match up with alot of the sensors and whatnot. Pre 96's dont have a crank position sensor, so all that hooks up to the block is pretty much just the oil and temp. The engine I am replacing is an old carbed engine. (I hate vacuum lines)
