Just got my first ticket:(
I got my first speeding ticket in the Type R today. I really don't think I was speeding, but the officer said I was going 43mph in a 25 zone. There weren't any other cars around so I was just cruising. I have really been pushing my luck since I got the car. I was starting to think I was radar proof 
I guess it was bound to happen sooner or later. I was on Cary St. in Richmond Va. I got pulled over by a couple of VCU police(university police). They felt the need to search my car for weapons. They didn't check the console 
One of the officers gave me many complements on the car. He really liked the way it looked, he asked alot of questions. He seemed impressed with the rims and spoiler being stock. Thats all. Hope everyone has a great ticket free holiday, be safe. I hope this doesn't effect my insurance to much.

radar detectors are illegal in VA! grrr...Hasnt stopped a lot of people i know though...there are a LOT of places to hide those things in a teg.

I got my first speeding ticket last week in my hybrid. 
Hell...I wasn't even in VTEC. LOL. I was just cruising along...unfortunately I was going 50mph in a 30mph zone. F*cken cop threw the book at me for the lack of a front plate as well. 
My first (and ONLY) speeding ticket in the R was this past summer. I think I was going 15 over the speed limit or so.

dont feel to bad 133 in 35 yesterday never seen a cop on that road the last 10 years i have lived on it nothing my radar could do at that speed, my license is gone now....

i got one on yesterday..my friend in his 65 mustang was next to me, and he peeled out and i was doing forty when i was pulled over..and i got the ticket, i didnt even spin out...i bet if my r was white or black i would'nt have gotten pulled over...damn cop's.there goes my insurance
