That looks totally fine to me. Id tap down the edges with a hammer so they weren't bent up.

yeah thats what I was afraid of. I guess I shouldnt risk it. I got it with a used (and also dented) oil pan. I can fix the pan no problem.

Yeah I would too. I dont see how those guys in those two threads could have had their problems caused by a slightly bent oil pick up. I mean as long as its not bent so much that its blocking oil flow, I dont see the problem.
