Default Having a problem with my V-afc II

well i was leaving the airport in raleigh north carolina, i stepped into the gas, and my car felt rather sluggish......when i looked to see if the afc was using its corrections i noticed that the corrections in the afc were gone.....my question is without touching the afc which i haven't what could cause the settings to be erased from the ecu? and suggestions would be greatly appreciated to get the settings back.......

you must of somehow reset the vafc, if the bat was disconnected then all of the corections will be reset.

ok thanks for the input, would pulling the clock radio fuse have anything to do with that?

I thought the settings are saved on the VAFC regardless if you have disconnected the battery, taken out a fuse etc. The only way to reset it is by initializing it.

Agreed!! ^^

there is absolutly no way to reset it unless it is initialized. having the battery out of the car will not change the settings on the Vafc..

pulling the radio fuse, or any fuse for that matter wil not do anything to it.

set up your vafc again and see if it does it again. if it does, try and remember what you've done to provoke it. if not, your ready to roll!
