OEM JDM HID parts needed for no rubbing?
I have searched and searched, but cant find a definitive answer. I checked with Brian Wong, but his answers have been less than complete.
I was under the impression you needed a JDM ITR washer bottle, ABS bracket, and PS resivoir bracket, to put OEM HID's in an USDM ITR with an OEM JDM nose. This to prevent rubbing of the HID ballasts.
Does anyone know for sure so I can track down the parts? Or should I just mount the HID's and run it with the rubs? I'd rather not take it all apart until I have everything sitting here. The non-HID's work ok for now. TIA.

if you have a type R, the power steering does not rub, the washer bottle doesn't interfere, neither does the abs....only the a/c line needs bending.
Kewl, thanks! If I later wanted to run a Mugen intake (considering it), can I still squish it in between the AC lines, and also bend them to clear the HID ballast (98 USDM R with AC)?
yeah its the ac lines on the driver side that cause the problem, it's easy to bend them to fit.....I have an AEM intake so I don't know specifically about the mugen peice though, I'd imagine clearance is fine.
