I know they WILL NOT fit any Crx, i have a 91 Rex and these 4th gen Civic Si seats that i have will not fit,the holes do not line up as the Crx is not as wide as the Civic.
Any one know for sure if 4th gen Civic Si seats fit in all 4th gen Civic hatches/Sedans?

No 88 and 89 civics have different mounting spots than 90 and 91. If u try to bolt them in it wont even come close, i know from experience...
if you want to they can be shimmed or modded i.ve doon this before it turns out ok but no the bolt patern is not the same

Ah no. For one thing there was no Civic Si in 88, only in 89-91. The 88 Si seats only fit 88-89 Civics. 90-91 have totally different mounting locations and will not bolt in.

^^ exactly what he said.. i dont know what year rex fits what year, but i KNOW that 89 Si seats (no red stripes) will ONLY fit in a 88-89 hatch. period.
the 90-91 seats will ONLY fit in a 90-91.
for direct bolt in.. anything will fit with mods. duh.

uh.. if you mean a car that was sold in 1989 as a 1990 model, then yes.
but 1989 model civic seats had grey/black stripes, and 90-91had grey/red/black stripes

i have 89 ef dx hatch and 89 crx si seats and i had to take the rails off the dx seats and make custom brackets underneath using some metal stock that i had laying around than drilled into it put it together and blam they fit perfect!
That has nothing to do with the actual topic.
Same set up as the Crx.
If you are thinking of doing a swap, I recommend a seat pan swap.
For my old DX I just swapped the lower half of the seat pan with my 90 si seats.
OR you can do a full cushion swap which I've also done with EG cushions to my DX seat pans.
There's a write up for that which can be found here:

Yup, done a pan swap before. Pretty easy.
Actually now since I've been trying to sell these, lots of talkers but no cash, I may use these in my Crx since I have an extra set of Crx seat pans.

i know DA seats will fit in a 90-91 EF. 88-89s have different mounting points and brackets. you can actually remove the 88-89 pan and bracket from your old seat and swap them onto your 90-91 Si seats. its been done before but its a pain in the ***. i attempted this but gave up because my 90-91 Si seats werent even in that good of shape and wasnt worth the effort. i would just find some 88-89 Si seats and save yourself the headache
