I NEED MAJOR HELP ON MY CRX ???
THanx everyone, i got it fixed, it turned out to be the alt. and and i got it running again one little screw to make big problems.,, lol

Sounds like a short in your cooling fan system. Put a multimeter on your battery and see if it reads 12v. If its less than 12v pull the fuse that keeps blowing and see if you get 12v. If so, you found where to look.
i should also add that new fan motors was installed on the car around the 14th of june this year, and this whole electrical prob, started within the last 2 weeks

with the voltometer or whatever that crap is called......you should get well over 12volts when the car is running. if not, your alternator is crap.

yea its a reman alt. thats all i can get around here without ordering one, i took it off and had them bench test and it shows charging around 14 v which i dont like their bench test anyways, i plan on takin it back off and makin them replace it. then try that, and im goin to take the battery back also i was charging it and the fluid was comin out of the top. i heard that if i take the negetive terminal off the battery with the car running that it should still run if the alternator isd good, anyone know if that is true or not...

double check your grounds...especially the ground on your valve cover since you said the fans were replaced, could mean the ground was taken off and never re-hooked up? Just a thought. Electrical issues always seem to be a thing of bad grounds from what I've read.
i checked grounds, and whatnots, but i put the electrical prob on hold for the moment, bc my crx quit running on me, i think the timing went out on me so now i have try and see whats wrong in that department, when i crank it over it just wants to back fire so after i get it running again ill get if figured out, thanks everyone for the advice...........
had the same problem turned out to be alternator. REman alternators suck. I went through 3 of them before i got a good one. Take it back get another one if after 5 tries you have the same problem then start checking for grounds.

yea i always seem to have probs with the reman alternators, i have my valve cover and a few other things pulled of right now, tryin to fix the major prob at hand with it running, i think i hate workin on cars, but the plus is that i think that i located the distributor is screwin up, so im goin to try to find one that doesnt cost an arm and a leg...........
