Default 04 S2000 for Invoice

Located in Wa state... This will be my families 11th car purchased from this dealership. My salesman is gone today so I was looking for your input, can this car , brand new be had for Invoice, if not let me know what you have paid and when. I will be paying with a cashiers check so i hope i have some bargaining power!! Thanks for looking. Ryan

During the summer it can be tough sometimes. If you can hold out til the mid or end of august or so you can probably get it cheaper.

i live in sacramento, california. the s2000s here are selling for 32,800. i bought my 04 s2k through an online honda dealership located in witicha, kansas. i got a deal of $29,999. i think that is around invoice price, not sure though.

Once a dealer HAS a S2000 in stock, it is usually more difficult to get a good price. As they say, they sell themselves. It's much easier to get with a manager and order one as a dealer trade for a fair price of just over invoice.

So, get with a manager. autobytel, cars.com, and other online places are the way to go to get with them. Walking into a dealer and asking for the manager will NOT WORK. They look out for their sales staff, but will gladly deal with you over the web.

Also by ordering a car not in stock, the dealer does not have to waste floor space by having a car sitting around doing nothing. Therefore it may be a bit easier to talk him/her down on price.
