A friend of mine has a DOHC ZC and he thinks the coil has gone out in his distributor. I'm not sure which coil he needs to order.

Also I don't know if his distributor has the crank sensor in it, or if it's the type with the external sensor on the front cam like some older D16A1s had. Does this make a difference?

I'm thinking it'll end up being like an 89 Integra coil, but I'm not sure.

89 coil will work(d16a6), the whole distro will work also....

 

I have a coil from my 89 teg distributor from my zc motor. I upgraded to an external one so I have no use for it anymore. Let me know if your looking for one.

 

as for the coil he can use the crx hf or crx si coil they both work and if he wants the whole dizzy get an 88-89 teg dizzy. the external sensor just look if its odb0 then he shouldnt have one but if he is odb1 then he will, on the exhaust cam there should be a sensor sticking out just like the dizzy otherwise there will bea black cap. hope that helps
