where is that damn service connector?!?!?!?!
Im trying to look for the service connector on a 2001 Civic LX. Cant seem to find it, so I called honda and they said passenger side under the carpet. Well there is nothing there. Can someone help me! Ahhhhh!

no, its not there. I know where the eks and egs are at I just cant find this one. There is no kick panel, just carpet and when I took the carpet out it was just the frame. So not even the ecu is on the passenger side. But thanks for the reply. Anyone else? Thanks!

i did a tach install on one and it's ECU was all the way in front of the passenger side, where the passenger would put his/her feet. the service connector might be up in there?
thanks for the replies guys, but the diagnostic port/service connector ended up being on the driver side under the center console. I guess the OBD-IIb doesnt have the service connector that you can just jump. It had the diagonostic port that requires a scanner to plug in. I had to rent the autozone OBD-II scanner to get the code out of it. Thanks!
