Default Installing HU after thieve has broken part of dash opening

Hi,

When the damn thieve stole my Alpine HU from my car, he broke two of the four raised edges (the thin plastic that protrudes into the opening to catch the HU from slipping completely into the hole) in my 95 Civic dash opening for the HU. With two of them broken, my new HU sits at an angle and not flat agains the dash opening. Does anyone know where I could get some sort of adapter that would fix this problem. It's an eye sore and I want to fix it.

thanks,

'azoid

Not quite sure what you're meaning but I'm sure you can find a replacement part at a wrecker for cheap.

I need to illustrate this with pictures, but the HU is installs so I can't take picture of the broken plastic strips at the HU dash opening.
