Default J's Racing intake

Hey guys,

Does any one know if the J's intake directly fit onto a GSR motor?
I have a 97 GSR and was debating between a Comptech or the J's intake
if it fits the B18C? Does anyone also know if anything needs to be removed if
the intake does fit? Can't find any info on this intake.

Thanks,

Will

it's not supposed to fit but EVOL crammed one on his motor equipped with a GSR manifol. Search some posts by him and I think he has pictures of the intake on the manifold.

it does fit, its in my engine now, search for my newest thread, anyways you most likely will have to remove your ac for it to fit well, however i never tried putting it in while the ac was still hooked up, if you have any questions about it i can prob answer them

People who say things like this dont fit havent dealt with putting aftermarket parts on cars for a long time

Anything fits...in this case, it isnt that difficult. Just an extension to the TB.

newgsrdriver is right, but actually it doesnt involve an extension, unless you still have the ac, then there might have to be one

When asking if it fits, usually it is assumed that one means "will it fit without modifications?"

Right.

And if the answer is "no it will not fit, you need a diff manifold" then the answer is wrong.

If its "yes it will fit with a slight modification, consisting of..." then the answer is right.
