Default Car wont start...

Hey whats up. My friend swapped a B18A1 into his 90 DX Hatch (DPFI switced to MPFI). It was running find for about a month now and all of a sudden it wont start, like its not getting enough fuel. We checked spark and compression which came out fine. Just today he replaced the fuel filter and its started right up and idled fine for a few mins and then died out. It wouldnt end up restarting and were all out of ideas of what the problem could be. Any help would be great and thanks in advance.

Either the fuel pump is crapping out, or most likely the main relay is out.

if the spark is good and comp is to that basically leaves the fuel as the problem.is the fuel pump old, is the main relay clicking? if the ignition switch goes it wont let the fuel pump stay on and the car wont stay running

thanks for the help guys. the fuel pump is old its the original one so i pretty much guess it could be that. but i wont rule out the main relay as the problem so ill check that out too.
