Jackson Racing Supercharger question.

Jackson Racing Supercharger question.
This is for my buddy..
he saw a Jackson Racing supercharger for sale, he has a Acura 1.6EL, pretty much a loaded EX sedan with D16Y8 engine.
The superarger supposidly came off a guys 92Si. He called Jackson racing to confirm if the supercharger would fit his Y8 but they said it would not.
Is there anyway to mod it to fit, or does he have to buy the application specific model?
He doens't know the exact model of the SC, but the previous owner said it was on his 92si civic and his friends 88 civic, so I assume it would fit a 99 EX civic with d16y8, but apparently it does not???
