Have any of you guys had problems with the stock shocks leaking? I had my rear left one changed about a year ago and my rear right unit is being replaced next week (all under warranty )

It's a slow leak so the car is quite driveable. I'm just worried about the front ones leaking after my warranty period expires.

How did you find that they were leaking?
I installed Tein S. Tech mediums and have been driving on them for a while without a problem, however, wingless_R had the same shock setup with the teins and blew his. Goo everywhere.

 

I was getting a tune up and tire rotation done and my mechanic noticed the shock being a bit gooey.

It happened to me twice. I've replace 2 of my rear left shock from the dealer already. I thought it was just me...but I guess not....anyone else has this problem? I guess my question is also will the dealer honor the "defects" after the warranty since it've been a constant problem?

oh, I found out about the leaks from "feeling" bouncing the first time and from tire rotation the second time....
