Car audio wires effecting idle??????
I heard that low voltage can have an effect on your idle. Well my idleing problems began when i got my audio crap hooked up back in the day. It has been years now suffering from irratic and low idle. I have now removed my car audio except i have left the power, ground, signal, rca cables all connected to my head unit and battery. The wires are now just running to my hatch and chilling there except i removed the fuse that was in the power line for the amp. Could leaving all these wires connected be causing voltage issues and this is why i still have idleing problems? Is it a bad i dea to have these all still connected and just lying in my hatch?

That would be my first guess, but it could also be a couple other common problems like a dirty IAC valve.
Actually, if it has been doing that for years, it is probably something like the IAC.
