i have 92 ls and my cousing threw in some crower 403's in there along with the recommended spring kit, Ericks racing ECU and skunk2 intake manifold. well heres the problem the idle will not go down pass 1300 when its at normal opt temp. Also the car runs without the vaccum of the map sensor hooked up. If it is hooked up, the idle surges from 1000-2000 rpm. I've replaced the MAP twice
I've already tried the EACV. cleaned it out and even went as far as replacing it with a new one. and still nothing. I don't have a FITV, I also tried reseting the EACV by the honda manual way. Change the TB gasket, I pluged the two holes in the TB as well and the motor sometimes dies and sometimes barely hangs on?

let car cool off entirely.

turn off all accessories. reconnect the map.

reset ecu (pull power for at least 10 seconds).

turn car on, and let it idle until it warms up. do NOT touch the gas, do not turn anything on.

once it's done warming up, it SHOULD idle normally.

 

tried that too. still nothing. you know if you close IAC hole in the TB is the motor suppose to stall? and if it doesn't does it have a vaccum leak
