i just installed skunk2 im and the jdm itr head. there are no leaks in the exhaust system. the vacum reads at 21hg and my spark plugs after idling for about 4 min are dry, shouldnt they have mositure. Andfor some reason my idle is at 1500. could it be fuel injectors are cloged or might need bigger ones, i duno. and i also tried adjusting the idle speed and 1300 was the best i could do. whats going on... ahh its frustrating me. can anyone help... thanks..

 

check your IACV, make sure the wiring is good, and that it is not clogged.

what gasket did you use?

did you let the car warm up completely?

 

Of course also look for a loose or disconnected vacuum line.

i got it down to 1300 today and i found a leak in the throttle body i found out by spraying carb cleaner and the idle when up finally i hope that the problem.
