brake problem?
Squealing may have a couple of causes.
1. Dirt is stuck between your pads and rotor. or
2. You do not have alot of pad material left and the brakes are warning you.
Now for the shaking, if your steering wheel vibrates when braking and the faster you go, the more violently it shakes, then you have warped rotors.
THe best thing to do is to replace the pads and turn the rotors if you can.
Now, you may wish to go to a brake shop and have a free estimate, or
take your wheels off and have a looksee.

btw, get a manual if you are not conmfortable with this.

The steering wheel only shakes when im braking. WHen i accelerate, the car is fine. Im going to take it to the shop and have it looked at. Thanx for your help.
Warped rotors for the shaking
and
some brake indicators going off letting you know they are to low! (soft metal rubbing against your rotor making a squeaking noise)
