I hit a manhole cover and smashed my header, it broke off the top of one of my exhaust manifold bolts right off.

How can I get the bolt out?

i got the stud out and now the threads inside the cylinder head are completely shot. I cant put the new stud in and have it tight, its not grabbing any threads.


I was thinking I can re-thread the cylinder head...


any other ideas?

 

Yea, either use a thread replacement or re-tap the stud hole for a larger size diameter stud.
