this subject has been beaten to death, please USE SEARCH in the future.

The swap is very easy, i'm just about done mine and waiting for an engine rebuild to finish. Only hard/annoying part was removing the pedals.. other than that it was all very basic. If you have never worked on cars, or have the personality to not move step by step or use logical common sense than bring it to someone with experince.

worth it.. if you have a big future with the car.
not worth it...if your slapping on headers, exhaust and cruising the strip.

Any questions msg me up and i can help you while you do the swap

which hatch are you getting? if you're getting an EG, then you can easily find a manual for around 2000. plus considering it has high mileage, well i don't even know what you are going to do with the car. honestly, i think it would be better off getting a manual rather than auto, because the time doing the auto to manual conversion can be used to doing something else to your car

My buddy and I Almost finished mine yesterday, the only thing we didnt do is the front left stopper and the smaller brake pedal. I took us about 4-5 hours. Its definately worth it, I spent close to $600 for all the parts.

Took 2 seconds off my 1/4 mile time in my old 90 dx hatch. So, yeah, I'd say its worth it.....
