just installed new suspension, thought i'd share...
Ground Control / Tokico Illumina. took a bit of tweaking, but finally got the height where i wanted it. not so low i can't get out of the driveway, but if the front was any lower, my floorjack wouldn't fit underneath. i have the rear shocks set full stiff [5] and the fronts at [4]. i still have some driving to do before i know what works best.
any ideas on a next step? strut bars i can live without unless inexpensive. in the near future i'd like to fabricate my own anyway. rear anti-sway bar is an option, but not for $250+. tires are 205/45-16 ES100s.

Are you planning to do any events with the car, such as road racing, drag racing, or is this a daily driver? It would help to determine what individual goals before being able to suggest what you may need.
You have already started with the suspension, I would keep going unless you only really cared to lower it to get rid of the tire gap.

of course, the gap was driving me insane [hate that AWD look...], but the car is a daily driver and i hope to autocross when time permits. and to me, daily driver means fun.

I saw a set for a DA, the front upper and lower, and rear upper and lower for $80.00 shipped. I searched around the site here and most people say that it is worth the money unless you want to do some serious auto-x.

Other than that, nice drop, and I agree that our DA's look much better w/out that wheel gap.

You could have gotten some ROTAs if you were on a budget... And NO, ROTAs are not flashy...at least in my opinion.

yeah, rotas are nice and clean lookin. but these were like $350 with tires.

what spring rates are you going with on your Ground Controls?
What led you to decide on the setup you have?
like to hear back ground stories as to the process people went through to end up with their setups
next best mod to pursue would be investing in a nice light set of 15" wheels with good high performance tires.........will make your suspension setup that much better

spring rates: don't know. the GC site didn't have them listed, but the parts #s for the springs are [front] 200.64.58 and [rear] 200.64.44.
as for why, i have a couple of friends who have more experience with hondas and they are all about doing something right the first time. they both have Ground Control and have been very satisfied. they also used Koni yellows, but i simply couldn't afford it and just about anything is better than stock. i've heard good things about the Illuminas and i like the fact that they are adjustable.
and i wouldn't mind getting some light 15" wheels with maybe the Azenis on them, but it's' not worth the money for me at this point and i have no room to store the extra set.

you know need to buy million dollar strut bars, as long as their a decent brand, for example, neuspeed, benen, spoon, cusco, oem itr..some of those could be obtained for cheap used or new....i would take the turn so hard i have bent 2 generic strut bars...a plain one..and a fake mugen one...
well i bought some cheap ebay strut bars and will be emailing the seller shortly. the front upper does not fit due to the intake manifold. i wasn't expecting them to be very strong, but i did expect them to fit. grrrrr.....
found 'em on craigslist.org when i was living in the bay area. a tad scuffed from curbage, but at the time i needed tires bad and it was the best deal.
