New Engine Issue
Hi,
91 honda CRX
History:d15b7 block d15b2 head, BOTH fully redone. head and deck got leveled/milled. Everything is fine in that area.
Problem: Can't get her to start and stay running! She'll attempt to run, but I've only had her run(like a dog) for a few seconds, stopped it to retime it and no luck ever again.
Facts: I do have: spark, fuel, "compression", #1 @TDC, cam&dizzy at proper markings, firing order 1-3-4-2, I do have that connection under pass. dash jumpped with wire.
Factors: Brand NEW head gasket and pistons&rings, bearings, timing belt, belt tentioner.....................Please help me!!!
Peace

I've had her running before only for a few seconds on her own will power. And I do have fuel pressure from what I can tell. I pull the plugs out and I'll smell the fuel without a problem.
For the general record, I will be doing a compression test in the morning

CEL's??? Whats that?
Few days ago I check the resistance of my injectors, one was a little out of spec(too high), any possibility?

If you mean throwing a code, i'm throwing a believe a 10 air intake temp. 91honda crx dpfi dx.
Now that i think about it, COULD me not having the oil pressure senser hooked up anymore, be a problem? I'm using a mech. oil pressure gauge, so i know exactly whats going down. Same goes for water temp

They don't make a metric T fitting to run the OE oil pressure hardware. I AM running a mech. gauge for oil pressure. The OE hardware only tells you if you do or don't have pressure, and not how much PSI, thats what I switched

Be sure you do have pressure, fuel remaining in the rail will be released by the injectors and let the motor run for a litle bit but once thats gone the motor will no longer run. I've had my car start up for about 5 sec then wouldnt run again and I hadnt tightened down the banjo bolt on my filter. Try starting it with starting fluid and if it will run then, you have a fuel problem.
