Default Loud noise from rear when driving, need help!

Some of you may have seen the thread I have started here: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=889404

My buddies car makes a loud humming noise that gets louder as you accelerate. It sounds like it is definately coming from the back of the car. For an idea of how it sounds, it sounds like a propeller plane engine. I can't find the problem, and need suggestions for where to look/do, my friend will be home very soon. Thanks!

Sounds like a rear wheel bearing. When driving in a straight line, move the car from side to side and see if the noise gets louder or quiet.

Exactly, has to be a wheel bearing.

Could be a caliper binding.

That was my first thought about the noise too. I will make sure to try that out and post my results. Thanks.

I checked the calipers and brake pads, and everything seemed okay. I will take a second look though
